Summer vaction

Hey guys!Today I'm gonna tell you about a very special vacation!!
Last week I went to Osoyoos, Okanogan. Iwent there with 4 other families-and 4 of my friends!
I went to a 4.5 star hotel-and let me tell you it was hot there, almost every day 40 degrees celsius!
Except for one day, there was a storm! Okay, here's the story...

We (everyone) were at the pool, just relaxing,you know having fun...then, while we were eating burgers and hot dogs, we heard thunder! we all evacuated into my suite, and we slowly started relaxing watching TV, until I was wondering if storm was over, but when I looked outside there was a teeny river outside! And the rest of the day was pretty much the same...-and the rain did stop-

Hi again!

Hi!! Sorry I have not typed anything in a long time. Anyway, I am now in grade 4. My best friends are Lauren, Elika, Paloma, and Sadie. Now my teacher is Mrs. Bailey. She is so nice! She even gives us candy and bubble gum when we are nice! Anyway, I am reading a really good book right now. It is called The Great Wall of Lucy Wu. I got it at a book fair at my school library. Our librarian is very nice too. She has so much contests- With prizes too! Oh and also Oscar! (he is a puppet but he dose NOT like being called one.) My school-Bayview- Is so much fun!! But I am NOT very happy about the strike.

A very special ocassion & book review!!

This extra-long-weekend I did so much things!I can't even remember it all!

On Friday Paloma came over.  We went to H & M..
I got skinny jeans & new shoes. Paloma got lip gloss. It smells like cherries!

Then we went to the library at downtown. I borrowed lots of books there. I especially like one called My Sister the Vampire. No.1 (Switched)  & that's the one I'm reading. Here's a little paragraph I made about the book.
Olivia Abbott just moved into town and into a new school. Where she realized she has an identical  twin sister.Who is a goth. Her name is Ivy and just for fun they switched places for a day. 
I'm gonna let you read the rest. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I do!

On Saturday I went to Granville Island & I got a ice cream cone.  I also got a new book. Its called Nail Art. It is from Klutz activity books. I am practicing on my mother's nails. I think I am getting the hang of it. 


On Sunday we went to a demonstration in front of the Chinese Embassy. The people there were protesting against the Chinese Government.  Because they sent an artist to jail just because they didn't like his art. Which I think is pretty stupid.

My last weekend

Hi!  It's me again! I'm gonna tell you about my weekend.
I had a performance on Friday! It was so much fun!
My friend Paloma did it with me. It was a show of the community program I did called Skiddery Addery. It was extra fun 'cause there no boys. Our teacher,Helen, is super fun.She lets us play lots of games. She's the best!! After we went to my other friend's,Kelsey, for a party. We played lots of games there like Twister, Monopoly, tag & wii..
The next day I had a sleepover with Kelsey.
I haven't told you this but, I have a twin brother.
Anyway,we had lots of fun.We played lots of computer.
In the morning we made you tube videos & watched TV.
It was lots of fun!

My name is Aida Maria and I'm in grade 3 at Bayview Comunity School. My teacher is Ms.Sutton,a grade 2/3 split class.

Now,first things first. I'm gonna explain why I called my blog 'Aida's Vogue'.

Vogue means

fashion, current practice. And I looked online and it also means chic, custom, fasionableness,favor, last word, latest, popularity, style, stylishness,  way, use, usage.
